A home tie with Aylestone Park formed this week’s Midland Floodlit Youth League fixture on Monday evening.

An even first half presented chances to both teams however the half time whistle came with neither side taking advantage.

The second period began in much the same way as the first had ended but a finish of quality from Joe Marriott broke the deadlock 15 minutes after the restart. A petulant foul on Hinckley goal keeper Spencer Stacey resulted in a red card and saw Aylestone reduced to ten players a few minutes later.

Leicester Road finished things off with Marriott finishing from the penalty spot.
