A single Hinckley LRFC goal from Kai Jones saw visitors Rushall Olympic exit the League Cup.

The strike to put Hinckley in front came early in the second half when Jones met a cross from Luke Thompson to put the ball into the Rushall net.

The visitor’s fortunes went from bad to worse when they were reduced to nine players as a result of two petulant fouls.

Despite having a number of chances late in the second half, Hinckley did not take full advantage and the game ended without the lead being stretched.
