For the first time since the opening weekend The Knitters find them self outside of the relegation zone after scoring 8 points from the last 6 league games and a win in the County Cup. It's the first time this season that Hinckley have acquired back to back victories and they'll be looking to make it 3 in a row and back to back league victories against AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Tuesday night.

The Knitters won convincingly at the weekend, beating Loughborough Students 2-0, a game that saw Liam Read pick up his 8th goal of the Season and Aaron Nuttall getting his second of the season.

After a disappointing campaign that saw the Diamonds ultimately relegated on the final day of last season, they were reinstated due to the voluntary relegation of Loughborough Dynamo and have performed much better at the start of this season. The Diamonds sit 10th in the league having scored 20 points from their opening 13 and 10 points in their last 6 making them one of the in form teams in the league.

Hinckley did the double over Rushden and Diamonds last season winning this fixture 3-0 back in February and Hinckley will be hoping their recent form continues as they try to propell themselves out of any danger and up the table.
