The ideal lead coach will already be level I qualified and aspire to obtain their level II. They will be appointed total responsibility for an age group and will look to prepare that group to hand over to the next age group up at the end of the season.

The lead coach will look to establish a squad of players registered for both Saturday and Sunday football and look to field two squads each weekend. The total squad will train together and the lead coach will look to select players to support their mental, physical and technical development.

Two assistants will report into each lead coach so that they are amiably supported with one focussing on the Saturday group and the other the Sunday group.

Lead coaches will be expected to hold open trials throughout every closed season and should attempt to avoid the "parent cartels" at every opportunity. Player development is key to the success of the Hinckley Leicester Road pathway and every player should move to the next age group a better player.

Hinckley Leicester Road FC will be working to meet the EPPP audit standards for the Youth Development Phase and embrace everything required operationally to be a successful Cat 4 academy.

We would expect the right people to have good administration and organisation skills as an essential as well as good IT literacy and familiarity with the popular social media channels.
