The Leicester Road boys went into the game hoping to to address some of the issue that saw them on the wrong side of the result in the opening fixture a week ago.

It did not take long for the first goal to come for the boys when a cross from Callum Sumner was converted at the far post by Cauley Wilford in the first few minutes.

A dominant HLFC continued with impressive fiinishes from Liam Nicholson adding to the score line.

The first half finished with HLRFC 4-0 to the good.

The second half was a repeat of the first but a a lapse in concentration saw Kettering reduce the deficit by one early on. Further goals from the developmnet boys saw the lead stretched . The win was secured with a margin of six goals.
